Sun Eclipse has a unique product, namely: awnings. But what makes this sun protection so unique? Well! This sunshade is easy to install with suction cups and also keeps 95% of the heat out of the house. So a nice durable, flexible solution!
Sun Eclipse knocked on our door asking us to devise and execute a new online campaign for the year 2023. In this, a new target audience needed to be attracted and become interested in the product/brand.
Our challenge? Creating a strong online campaign that clearly translates all the benefits of the product to the new target audience.

Medianauts, Bram Koopman, Jean Haasbroek photography and Team Nijhuis
After thoroughly researching the target audience 's motivations and the product's USPs, we and Medianauts came up with the following concept: Exaggerating the heat.
With this concept, we tackle all the key elements, such as identification with the target audience, the USPs of the product and attracting and keeping the viewer's attention with a small touch of humor.
After brainstorming with the online marketer, we came up with the idea of creating different banners but also having video play an important role.
We eventually developed the video together with Medianauts and under the direction of Bram Koopman (see below the 15sec version of the commercial).
On screen? The actor Bert Hana who excellently portrayed the heat without saying a word. Of course supported with quite a few props that added body to the exaggeration of the heat, such as: flowing sweat, dried out plants and of course our homemade sauna.
Not very insignificant! While shooting the video, actress and model Elsemiek Hoevens stood in front of Jean Haasbroek's photo lens. The photos shot for this were eventually used for Sun Eclipse's online banners and website.
After the filming day, together with Team Nijhuis, we completed the online banners and videos and the campaign could go LIVE! Curious about the results, read on below.
