In the year 2022, we developed a successful campaign for WOZwet.nl that doubled the growth of the company and the number of applications. So the question for 2023 was really quite simple:
"Can we do that again?"
After several brainstorms, we landed on a new concept called: The know-it-all. A guy who knows everything about everything and always knows better. Annoying, but sometimes nice, especially when such a guy can save you a lot of tax money.
However, just being a pedantic male won't get you there. How do we attract attention? How do we make it surprising? And how do we make sure that the wise guy also has something charismatic?
The solution? Humor. We let the know-it-all light up from the most surprising locations. Consider the back seat of your car, under the running shower or in your bed just before you want to go to sleep.
In fact, the know-it-all is ready 24/7 to provide you with the best WOZ advice.
Like last year, the campaign consisted of a flyer, website and online banners. However, one major media outlet was added this year: a television commercial.
Before the cameras were allowed to run, we had to find a way how we were going to give the know-it-all a place on the flyer, website and on the online banners. This required some adjustments but with the right preparation and the creation of a clear script, we ended up with a great solution.
In one production day, we were able to capture all the shots needed for both the television commercials and the photography required. With these images in our pocket, we were able to finalize the campaign and quickly put all media statements online.
The partnership with BrandBros has been a resounding success. Maarten and Thom have taken our branding to unprecedented heights, with an impressive 450% growth. Thanks to their rock-solid approach, including new expressions, a new brand face, improved website and national TV commercial, we are now the third largest WOZ agency in the Netherlands. Their efforts have driven our success and growth!
